A strong Boxing Day run

The family is back in Vancouver after braving the Coquihalla Highway (actually it was in good shape) and I managed a run of 41:15 when we finally got out of the car. Running on the streets of Vancouver, my legs (and I) felt better than they have in a long while. It was one of those runs where you just felt strong and you could take on the world......maybe it was the packed leftover turkey sandwiches we ate just outside of Chilliwack today. Could it be being cramped in a car for 4-5 hours have helped in some way?

It was nice to be running with sure footing again........and the weather was a relative balmy +5 deg/C.
