It was going to be a hot day, so I was sure to get to the track before any sort of heat would affect my workout. I probably got up there a tad later than I wanted but I worked the previous afternoon shift. Here's the rundown:
1600m warm up
drills and hip swings
4 x strides
2K in 7:03
800m jog
2K in 7:12
drills
I rode up to the gym and got my July training schedule from Coach. He spent a bit of time explaining his approach. More later.
