I was at the track this morning, looking to get what was sure to be a tough workout done, so as to be free for the rest of the day.
1600m warm up, drills, and 4X strides.
8X600m, with rep. every 6:00 min.
My best 600 was a 1:52, and then there was a slow, steady deterioration in times. The 600m sure seemed like a long way, running at anaerobic levels -- especially after the third repeat. The first 200m seemed to offer a free pass, and then I had to fight to keep form, speed, and fluidity.
A good, tough, satisfying workout.
