Run Fast For Me

Just as I was heading out the door, my almost 3-year old daughter said to me, "run fast for me Dad". It wasn't a speed day, but I thought she doesn't have to know that. I decided I'd run well for her. It was a very cute sentiment -- which would have even been slightly more perfect if I was preparing to toe the line for a 10K race.

I ran for 1:05:55 which is around 14K, with a HR 155-165. It was cold and raining, but I wore my new Brooks pants for the first time, which I had bought this summer from Shorerunners 2, which helped matters.

Having a place in town to buy running gear and apparel is so nice now. When I'm out of town with two kids, it's much harder to make a special trip to a specialty running shop.
