Victoria's Chinese Cemetery

What a day! I ran from Hillside, down Cook St. and then hung a left at Beacon Hill Park along the water. In total I ran for and easy 1:09:10 on a gorgeous day, making a point of checking out the beautiful homes along the way. I also took a turn along Crescent Rd, and discovered for the first time, the old Chinese cemetery. Now I'm convinced that the Chinese have a tremendous knack for real estate -- or feng shui. The cemetery is in a primo-waterfront area. Despite the overt racism of the past the Chinese community picked up a beautiful parcel of land. 

A very interesting cemetery with an equally interesting history.
