Though the times aren't right where they need to be, I felt it was an improved session from previous track days. My concentration took a mini vacation on the second repeat between 400-800m. I kept in my mind these two main points:
- Do not run on my heels
- Look as well as I do at the gym
Just keeping these in mind made me run more relaxed.
Today's efforts showed progress greater than what's evident merely by looking at the split times. I expect to continue improving on these sessions. The treadmill work of late has shaken my perception of what I need to do outside.
