I ran easy for an undetermined amount of time along my 8k loop. It was a misty afternoon, the rain held off, and I ran by my ex-wife along the Beach trail. She did one of those turn-your-back-so-I-can't-see-you tricks. This along a narrow, wooded path.
I hope this isn't read as a negative post, but I fear it might. I wish her well, and I wish you dear reader, better.

It sounds to me that narrow path was actually two different roads, yourself travelling on the higher one.
Nice to wish her well, but as you now know there's truth to the old adage " I should have married my second wife first!"
