After work, in the fading light, I ran for 55:00 easy. As I was running home along Joyce Ave, between Lytton and Kamloops Streets, I was startled to find I was six feet away from a deer. I stopped, stared at him (or was it a her?), he stared at me, and when I took one step forward, he was off into the trees.
Tired tonight. Lack of sleep.
