I joined up with a drill clinic held at Sunset park in Wildwood. It was about an hour long demonstration being put on by Shawn (sp?), who is a fantastic runner, formerly a top notch university 800m athlete.
He basically broke down the act of running into its component parts, and then demonstrated several drills to address these specific movements. They were quite helpful and I learned some things I didn't know, or things I hadn't thought much about before. Shawn was a great teacher, and affirmed some of his 800m power when he did his stride outs. Good stuff.
