Confederation Lake

Did something different for my Sunday run. Kevin S. and Steve B., along with myself, drove to Loon Lake and ran from there to Confederation Lake. It took about 1:20:00 to get there and 1:00:00 coming back. Pretty much a giant hill getting there, with a particularly steep switch-back area. Amazing blueberries and huckleberries the size of Pamela Anderson's implants (as Steve commented) along the route. Opened it up during the last 800m, despite the tired legs. Today, my quads are feeling the results of the downhill.

Also, my lower back is experiencing soreness today, attributed primarily after doing some surf skiing last night. These things are tippy for a novice, and I ended up in the drink a few times. Amazing core work out though.

I used muscles yesterday that have been lying dormant for some time..... Time to put them back to their hibernation.

Wow! That sounds like you had a great time!
Surf skiing sounds super fun.

Good to shake up the body--shock it every once in a bit.
