Wednesday I joined up with the group at the track. Thursday, was a write-off as I had a busy day, and was bagged by the end of it. I think the one Heineken with dinner hastened the decision not to run!
Today's w/o saw me running about 4k to loosen up, and then on the track I ran 3 X 1600m with 1:00 rest in 6:04, 6:06, 6:05. My goal was to hit 6:04's, so I was pretty satisfied, particularly because my legs felt a bit "heavy" today. A cool down of a few k, gave me a total of about 11 for today.
