Not so great run
It was a struggle from the start. I headed out, planning to run 11K on an out and back route along the seawalk and beach trail. I made 11K, but it felt like, barely. It was my slowest pace at this distance in a looong time. For the first 7K or so, my legs felt heavy and my stomach was not agreeing with me. The loop ordinarily takes me about ~52:00-53:00, today it was 58:00. Included in my run was a 1min. walk, which I rarely do, as my stomach felt like crap. This was supposed to be an easy run today, and it was in the sense of time, but not in the way I felt. The last 4K was better, and I felt like my legs and stomach were improving; but at that point, I just wanted the run to be over with. With the sun setting and my shirt soaked, I headed up the hill just glad it was done.
