
In light of my earlier post today, I'm going to keep this one really brief. I ran 5X 1K with ~3:30ish light jogging between intervals. My target time was 3:34 for each, and my times for the five ended up being: 3:35, 3:36, 3:34, 3:33, 3:33. A pretty good workout seeing that my last two were the fastest. With a 2K warmup and a 1K cool down, a snowman today -- 8K.
I ran just as it was getting dark tonight, so the temperature was as near to ideal as you could get. I laced up the new spikes today and liked the way they felt. I've decided though, that I'll keep them solely for the faster rep workouts, going no further than 800's in them.
