15K with a brisk 5K

When I woke this morning, I soon realized that I had run harder than I should have yesterday at Sunset Park. I could feel some soreness in my legs and this caused me to procrastinate in starting my run this morning. I eventually got to it, running from B & C's house, where we were having a morning visit. I ran to the gym on a pace I'd call a recovery pace as my legs were in no mood to be covering ground quickly to start. I put in about 7K and then ran for 5K on the treadmill at what I think will be close to my half-marathon pace. I hopped off and ran the last 3K home, where by this time my legs were loosened up. I got in ~15K total for the day, running for 1:11.

Maybe the Saturday run was not harder than it should have been. After running wisely on Sunday, you felt better.

You are maturing as a runner. You can do some really good quality stuff (as you did on Saturday) without hurting yourself and still do an excellent high-end aerobic workout the next day.

I really think the odds are in your favour this coming weekend in Victoria.
