I went to the XC course and did several loops -- changing "gears" every lap, stepping it up steadily for 3 loops and then backing off for one. All told it was a fairly rigourous total of 10K. The rain held off, but the wind was a bit of a factor, a cross-wind was hitting me, and at times was unrelenting as I ascended the hill. After the workout I waded into the waters to chill my legs, the water was so cold I howled like a wolf in heat, Sarah and Audrey were laughing maniacally as they watched, they had joined me at the course to go for a walk. The waves were coming in pretty good and a few went a little higher than my thighs for my liking.
A decent workout, considering I was tired and the windy conditions.

At this link, the always blunt Canadian, Dick Pound, President of WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) speaks to NPR (National Public Radio in the US) about Doping in Athletics. I found out what a whizzinator was! Do you want to know?
