It was a morning devoted to running and running plans. First a massage, with focus on my right leg. I then had a meeting with my Coach and we discussed my training up till mid January. Changes were made to my training, with one of the highlights being strength work added a couple times a week. This will help with the minor troubles with my right leg.
Following lunch, I returned to the gym for a short run of 35:00. After the run, I did my first strength work in some time. I certainly didn't need much weight on any of the machines, as I need to get used to the neuro-muscular coordination initially. I concentrated on my legs, but did do some military presses for my massive shoulders.
All this running related activity was got out of the way, so that I could spend time with my family this afternoon, and do things like hanging Christmas decorations (as in below). Actually, I added this picture because family members don't really want to read about my goings-on, but rather they want pictures of my daughter. I don't blame them...... Consider this a thrown bone.
