One of the twelve labours?

I went to the gym after it had just opened in the morning and saw Patrick who had just completed a gruelling treadmill workout. Patty did an astounding 6 X1 mile (with 3:00 rest between) at 5:00min/mile. Wow! I had a quality run scheduled today, but nothing like his Herculean effort.

I warmed up for 20' and then ran another 20' at what I'll call a "progressive tempo" run. I started at 6:15min/mile and worked up slowly to a faster pace. The first few minutes of the 6:15 effort felt more manageable than a few short months ago. It was the first extended run like this in a while. I was satisfied with the effort today.

For me it was 40' total running for about 9.5K
