I ran 41:24 for about 8.5K tonight. My legs felt fresh, especially next to Patty's pins, that just came off a 100k bike ride. During the easy run he tried to increase the pace, and I warned him that if he didn't reign himself in, I'd put the hammer down. The bright red brake lights came on.
I picked up my new racing flats this evening, they're incredibly light, form fitting, Brooks T4 racers. I just wish I had more "weight" on my T4 slip.

The Bazan Bay 5K will be f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c. I'm interested to see how you do given the work you've been putting in. I might be out watching as I only have a 55' run scheduled. If I don't see you... best of luck!
