I found this picture of myself here from the Stanley Park race a few weeks ago. It's the final few meters of the 5k, and you can see my good form has left me. I'm the one in the background, with shoulders hunched and my head is to one side. I'm digging deep here.




He who chooses the beginning of a road chooses the place it leads to. It is the means that determine the end.

Lawrence,
Your "poor form" looks like my good form - head down, slouching and gasping for air hoping by god's wishes that the end is around the corner, blisters tearing, arches ripping and knees swelling. I had a brutal run this morning, felt like junk after - BUT I ran and will run again.... nothing like getting up at 5:30 for a nice run in Victoria.
