It was a 3K race simulation this evening with Patrick acting as a bit of a pace bunny. Ran 1k in 3:25, 2K in 6:54 and finished in 10:25. This was 1 second better than my previous simulation on July 3rd. Considering all the yard work I did today, I'm fairly happy with this effort. My upper body was a bit tired from lugging around a hedge trimmer; but my legs felt great. There's more seconds to come off in the future!
Patrick was a great help, and he looked good putting in the full 3K + an extra lap to show who's boss. Congratulations are also in order to Patty, he kicked ass on his RCMP physical exam today in Vancouver.
