Getting Things Done

I just finished this book and enjoyed it considerably. I got it by way of inter-library loan; and as an affirmation on how good it is, I hope to pick this book up somewhere on the cheap at a second hand store, so I can take a highlighter to portions of it.

It's full of practical, common-sense advice, that just isn't often implemented. It's relevant for both work or your home life. Even if you gain, or accept, just a few ideas from it, you'll gain a better hold on your productive self.

The next time you are stuck on a project or task, ask yourself, "what's the next action"? That is, the very next physical action you can take.

The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one. -Mark Twain
