It was a beautiful afternoon, and now it's a similarly wonderful evening. Especially now that the kids are in bed.
At the track I did the following workout in the afternoon:
1600m jog
Drills + 4X strides
4 X 1K in 3:38 w/ 2'rest between
4X 200m "guts" with increasing speed on each
4 laps "boiling water", slowly increasing pace over the distance
A good workout, though started the k repeats a bit quick. 8k total running.
