I was in no mood for a run when I got home from work. I managed (allowed) to have a quick nap, then put on the running gear, and forced myself out the door. It was a short run of 8K with the task of running with a HR in the range of 165-175. I found myself closer to 165 for most of the run, getting up to 170 just in the last 400m. I finished my 8K+ route in 37:56 which was ok, but I can get my HR up a bit more consistently, given a better frame of mind.
I'm still having some issues with getting readings in the first 10:00 of my run, but I have a few ideas I'm going to try.
