Deliberate practice

I found this interesting. It's not about running; but the baseball player Alex Rodriguez, and how he got so good. Though about baseball, it can equally apply to running and anything you want to improve upon.

A-Rod focused on technique rather than outcome. The tenants of "deliberate practice" are roughly:

1. Focus on technique as opposed to outcome.
2. Set specific goals.
3. Get good, prompt feedback, and use it.
