Last run before the 5k
I ran yesterday for just 5:00 at 11.4 mph with a 1.0% incline. I warmed up for about 20:00 before hand -- and that was that. Enjoy the taper. Enjoy the taper. I'm ready.

Tapering is difficult! I find it hard not to go out and run as fast as I can just before a race...just to tell myself I'm ready!

See ya Sat!
P.S Is red wine a taper strategy?

Interesting... I find training hard. I have not run for a few days and I am dreading starting again. I can see myself tapering indefinitely.
Don't look back Lawrence because Bartfai and Bakker are going to be hunting you down - particularly over the first mile.
Have a fun trip down with Sarah & the kids.
Good luck with the race. Looks like you're ready!
BTW, red wine is not a taper strategy--it's a tactic! Cheers!
