Simple run today. At the track and ran 3 X 2K in 7:32, 7:32, 7:35. The pace felt good today, and I liked the way I handled the laps, all very evenly run. I didn't hit the exact 7:30 I intended, but that's probably because I didn't force it. My first lap on each set was a bang on 1:30'. I felt really relaxed before the workout and during it, and even considered doing one more k in 3:45 when it was all said and done -- but stopped myself -- usually those sort of thoughts don't even enter my mind.
The pace today was very near my 10k PB time from last year, a time I'm hoping to knock down at the end of this month.
