The Christmas Interlude is over. I went one week since my last run, which is the longest time I've gone without running without some sort of physical excuse in a good while. It just sort of evolved, with work being very busy, the holidays impending approach, and the snow and ice on the ground.
After a wonderful Christmas morning, with excited children opening presents, I headed out for a 30 minute easy Christmas jog. I stuck to the side roads to avoid the ice and snow, and ended it walking in my driveway by being called,"Ebenezer" by a certain neighbour. He's been accusing me of Scroogeful behaviour due to a lack of exterior Christmas lights. The nerve! The humbug!
