Backing up a bit, I met up at the track with young Charlie N. this morning. We didn't actually run on the track, but met there and ran all through the trails above and adjacent to Manson and Nootka St. Charlie led the way through trails I've been on, and some I don't go on very often, as I have the worse sense of direction known to man. We ended up running for 50:30, which at our pace today was probably just under 11k. It was a good recovery run after yesterday's harder effort. Charlie is gearing up for cross-country training tomorrow, as he starts his coach's regimen then.
