A rare double

I went for a run this morning before work for a change. There was a slight drizzle and it was thinking of snowing, but because I live by the water it seemed to hold off. The roads were wet, but at least there was no ice. I ran for 45:10 and was glad that I'd got this in before my day started.

After work, I went directly to the gym and had a short meeting with my Coach. I then ran for 15:00 minutes on the treadmill to give me 1 hour for the day. I did 9' at 8.0mph and the last 6 min. at 6' min/mile pace (0.5 incline, last 2' @ 1.0 incline). I had a short strength workout following the tready: Legs and some core stuff was the focus.

This was my first double in a long time. Probably about 13K for the day.

Nice one with the double, particularly given the weather we’ve been having. It looks like the weather my hold for the weekend, perhaps a long run on Sunday with sunshine?
