To renew or not to renew?

My subscription to "Runner's World" is up for renewal. I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth paying for. I've been a subscriber now for about 4 years and there is quite a bit of regurgitation; and of late it's been relegated to bathroom reading. On the other hand, occasionally there is something interesting to be found between its pages. It's $34.97 CDN for 12 issues. What do you think? Renew or not?

I also subscribe to this mag. I too find some repitition between the pages but by the time I read it again I have forgotten what was said in the first place. I have tossed the idea of cancelling as well and just picking up the odd one from the newstand.

My practical mind has worked this out: Save the 35 bucks but spend approximately 25 bucks on the odd five splurges. A difference of 10 bucks! Big whoop! I have spent that on a coffee at Starbucks.
I can't deny the joy I get from checking the mail and aside from bills or flyers a gem is found in the rough. Also I believe in supporting the running community and if my meager 35 bucks a year does that then rock on!
I also give my read copies to the hospital I work at so we don't have to read 1986 Reader's Digest in the staff room.

Hope my perspective helps. :)

Personally I'd save my money for Marathon and Beyond and Running Times. That being said, right when I decided not to renew they ran the excerpt from Kenny Moore's Bowerman book, which was very cool. I dutifully sent in my $20 American.
