It was a total of 5 hills today, the same hill workout I was doing up to a month ago. This time the hills were at a more moderate intensity. Total distance was just over 8k, and I managed to avoid the thunder and lightening that struck mid-day. The rain came down in a torrent and my daughter got to hear thunder for the first time...... She thought it was scaring the bears, something she got from a book we've read to her often. Very cute.
The hills were a bit tough, but manageable. The dreaded wind seemed to only be blowing when I was running up hill.....but that's the way isn't it. I think it's the only time I really notice it.
